Overview

We provide services in all areas of inheritance law under the third book of the Turkish Civil Code No. 4721 (TCC Art.495-682). Our services include legal heirs and inheritance shares (TCC Art.495-501), reserved share rights (TCC Art.505-508), will preparation and cancellation (TCC Art.531-544), obtaining certificates of inheritance, estate partition agreements, reduction claims (TCC Art.560-571), renunciation of inheritance (TCC Art.605-618), estate administration, and dissolution of inheritance community.

Legal Process

In inheritance disputes, heirs are first identified and a certificate of inheritance is obtained. A settlement is sought among heirs and a partition agreement is prepared. If no settlement is reached, an estate partition lawsuit is filed at the civil court of peace. If reserved shares are violated by a will, reduction claims under TCC Art.560 are evaluated.
